Business Transformation
The Business Transformation strategy seeks to unlock value through companies undergoing or expected to undergo significant corporate change, including mergers, spin-offs, turnarounds, restructurings, tender offers, and go-private transactions. The strategy may also invest in select new public offerings. The objective is to achieve attractive risk-adjusted returns that may have lower correlation to broader equity market movements over a full market cycle.
Concentrated Portfolio: We manage a concentrated portfolio, typically consisting of fewer than 15 positions, reflecting high-conviction investment opportunities.
Special Situations Focus: We invest in companies where corporate events or structural changes – whether announced or anticipated – may create opportunities for value realization.
Investor Suitability: This strategy is intended for tax-advantaged investors with a medium-to-long time horizon who can tolerate meaningful short-term market volatility in pursuit of long-term returns.
Risk Management: The strategy may at times utilize options contracts to manage client portfolio risk or augment returns.
Values-Based Review: In addition to our fundamental and financial analysis, we conduct a final qualitative assessment to screen for business practices and corporate activities that are inconsistent with our core Christian values.
