Founder & Lead Portfolio Manager

Damian Karas is the Founder and senior portfolio manager of Dignum et Justum. Damian brings over 20 years of investment research, portfolio construction and trade execution, and risk management experience. Prior to founding Dignum et Justum, Damian worked for leading global investment banks out of New York City, including UBS Securities, Nomura, and Barclays Capital. Before his career on Wall Street, Damian was a risk manager at the energy consultancy Pace Global (a Siemens business). Damian graduated magna cum laude from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, earned an MBA with distinction from NYU Stern, and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. Outside of his passion for research and investing, Damian strives to follow Our Risen Lord and finds his greatest joy in glorifying Him at the Traditional Latin Mass.
